What is VAULT by VANS？

VAULT by VANSとは…？
2003年スタート。 通常のクラシックモデルよりも強くファッションシーンを意識しており、音楽やアート、
ハイブランドなどのコラボレーションや、マテリアルにこだわった上質で贅沢なモデルを 展開する貴重なレーベル。
VAULTのコレクションの中でもORIGINALSとは、
製法もMade in USA時代のディテールを忠実に再現した復刻モデルOGシリーズで展開し、通常ラインとは一線を画している。

What is VAULT by VANS…？
Started in 2003.
This is a valuable label that focuses more on the fashion scene than regular classic models,
collaborating with music, art and high brands, and developing high-quality and luxurious models
that focus on materials.
The manufacturing method is also developed in the reproduced model OG series that faithfully
reproduces USA MADE, and it is different from the normal line.
Stores that handle VAULT will be those that have passed the VANS Office's screening process.
In other words,VAULT is a high-end "LUXUALLY COLLECTION" in VANS.

  現在のオフィシャルロゴであり、誰もが一度は見たことがある「V」が伸びたフォントのロゴに比べ、現在のVAULTは スケートボード に「VAULT」と記載したロゴ。

  On the left is the current official logo, which everyone has seen at least once. The VAULT logo simply states "VAULT" on the skate deck.

• ヒールタブでも、その違いは一目でわかる。
  左はインラインのモデル。 右はVAULTラインのモデル。
  スケートボードの中に"OFF THE WALL"の文字が入る、初期のデザインを復刻している。
  
  アッパーに対して、やや小さいワッフルソールを取り付けているため、ヒール側から見た時にアウトソールがくびれて見えるのもMade in USA時代のディテール。

• アウトソールに巻くラバーの太さが違うため、トゥ（つま先）部分でも違いが。
  VAULTではラバーがトゥまで盛り上がっているため、パッと見ただけでもその違いが分かる。
  
  アウトソールのサイドに巻かれているラバーは、内側にコットンを貼ったフリクションテープを使い、手作業でタイトに巻き付けている。
  細かい部分ではあるが、よく見ると黒と白のチェックがの大きさも違うのがわかる。

  インラインは「VANS」のブランドロゴがブラックに対し、
  VAULTは「VANS」のブランドロゴがブルー。
  履き口のゴア（ゴム）部分の大きさも異なり、VAULTの方は少しゆったりとしたフィット感が特徴。
